38-year-old female who had a suspicious lesion deeply frozen (cryotherapy) at a dermatologist. The midline chest area is very prone to hypertrophic scarring and she was concerned she would get a thick scar. She started using our product 10 days after her procedure. The pictures shown are 10 days, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, and 6 months after her surgery. She is very happy with her results and sent us these pictures via email. We encourage all our patients to send us pictures to show their healing and progression with our natural scar product. 47 year old female before and 5 months after shave excision of right for head actinic keratosis. This is a pre-cancer. About 10-15% of these will become squamous cell skin cancer within 5 years. Patients have the option to formally excise these areas if they are worried but in the majority of them, we just observe them to see if anything ever comes back or a new lesion arises. This is an epidermal lesion which means it is 100% outside the skin and can be safely removed with just a shave excision. Most of these do not result in any scarring. At the one month mark, you'll notice there was a little scaly scab, that is a "spitting stitch". The inside PDS stitches typically last 4 months and the body absorbs them. Sometimes the superficial dermal sutures "spit" or work their way out and we typically just remove this in the office without having to numb the patient. If patient wish to further camouflage the top scar they can get FUE or hair micrografts placed there or they can get a tattoo to make the white scar more flesh-colored. Most patients are happy with the scars and do not do any additional procedures.
